There are nine repeating symbols in my work.
The symbols began appearing to me in January 2016, “before I knew” I was an artist; they help me make sense of and accept what has happened to me. The symbols, in order of appearance, are The White Room, The Mirror, The Body, The Eye, The Pussy, The Demon, The Alien, The Ghosts and The Phoenix.
