The Demon

The sixth symbol is pissed.

Rage, unbridled and fierce; its flames lick the edges of our sanity. Beware, for the demon guards boundaries, defends honor, and fuels transformation. It is the tempest within, urging us to confront shadows—those cast from neglect and mistreatment.

A demon is thought to possess a person or act as a tormentor. The devil in the bible is considered to be

Demons are assumed to be cruel and destructive; they are depicted as monsters, villains, brute and savage beasts, barbaric and involved in reckless mischief.

The demon is also “a forceful, fierce, or skillful performer of a specified activity”—a wizard, a master. Consider the child prodigy, the wunderkind, hotshot, whiz kid, ninja, old hand, pro, ace, someone who is proficient, someone to write home about.

Demons are disciplined.

They are “an inner or attendant spirit or inspiring force.”
